Introduction directly from the artist: I am currently working on a series of paintings that describe the fluttering emotions of love, thoughts about the environment, as well as the mystic of the spiritual world. With a desire to bring to the public a new perspective on society, culture, and spirituality, I have used many existing images in our culture's wealth of traditional cultures, such as folk painting, patterns, and motifs, combined with modern life images such as of bricks, tangled strings, human body parts, trees, aquatic creatures. I express through surrealism to create reality and fiction. Each painting expresses different aspects of modern life, allowing people to think about love stories or the mystics of the spiritual world. My paintings have been polished with unique imagery, depth, layers of everyday life details, in order to send a message to people: humans and other creatures need to come closer together, love each other, so that the world could be a better place, in harmony. Ideas for this series were influenced by traditional art, clearly reflecting an oriental artistic preference for beauty, combined with silks and techniques of dip pens and fine liners on western paper.
